Helping People Succeed Receives Annual Spirit Award From United Way of Martin County
Having celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2014, Helping People Succeed is one of the first organizations to be funded when United Way began in Stuart and has received continuous funding. Helping People Succeed receives funding in two areas – Community Connections helping adults with disabilities become included in the community and Baby Steps, helping the families of infants and toddlers to be the best parents possible.
“The organization receives grants for United Way’s popular Character Counts project to assist its adults with disabilities in the Community Connections program. The board and staff of Helping People Succeed proudly and strongly support the United Way of Martin County,” explained President/CEO Suzy Hutcheson.
