Featured in the 2016 calendar will be a dedication to the late artist Jane Blatt, who died in February 2015. The Art for Living Calendar included her artwork for the last four years and will be honored in the 2016 calendar. She also participated in the annual White Shirt Night at Taste Casual Dining in Hobe Sound. Blatt was on hand for many other events in the arts community, including winning a Marties Award from the Arts Council of Martin County.

In November, artists will be on hand to attend a calendar signing event at a private exclusive club in Palm City and to display the original paintings to appear in the calendar. Two other calendar signings, taking place in December, include an afternoon at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Jensen Beach and a mid-day calendar signing at the A.E. “Bean” Backus Museum and Gallery in Fort Pierce. Dates will be provided in the Fall.

Barnes & Noble and several other locations around the county will have the calendars available for purchase at $20 per calendar. Pre-signed calendars, only available at Helping People Succeed’s main office, will be $40 per calendar. Helping People Succeed is located at 1100 SE Federal Hwy in Stuart.
